I'm currently working on a new design for my very-own-rpg and gathered this list of quest types. I hope this is helpful. I also hope someone here can add more to that list? ** Quest types: Legend: X=location Y=object Z=being - reach location X - reach X faster than another Z - clear X from monsters - protect X against attacks - map location X1, and bring map to some Z or X2 - find n Ys and bring Y to X - find/catch n Zs and bring Z to X - kill n monsters of type Z - collect n followers of type Z (if there are friendly beings) - guide/protect Z on the way from X1 to X2 - player must escape from trap (dungeon) - player must gather forces (Y, Z) and lead/bring the forces to X - something strange is going on. Player must track source and stop it. - manage a business to get beyond a certain limit (time/money) > ChrisH c.u. Hajo
